"Although Mitchel Shintani has not been to many camps, I was definitely impressed by the instruction and caliber of competition. Mitchel returned home with a renewed interest in basketball, practicing some of the moves he learned at the camp. He talked about dribbling harder and learning more effective moves off the dribble. "I recommend that basketball players attend the exposure basketball camp. I have encouraged several of Barry's friends to attend the camp. The experience of attending a camp with Hawaii's best basketball players is truly priceless. Barry was able to meet players and establish friendships, because he attended the camp. The coaching and competition is also valuable in helping young basketball players take their game to the next level. But, the advice, recommendations, phone call to prospective coaches is worth the price of the camp alone. Coach Walls was sensitive to not only to Barry's academic requirements, but he was also aware of Barry and his ability. Coach Walls made several suggestions that helped Barry to narrow his choices to a list of appropriate schools. Barry will attend Occidental College in the fall and will receive significant financial aid that will make it possible to attend Occidental College. Coach Walls helped make a challenging process a little easier for me and got Barry into a good college. Coach you are truly a basketball junkie, who cares about basketball players and their education."
